Are you interested in hand weaving? From Toika you will find all the material and equipment you need for  weaving, knitting, tufting and crocheting.

The famous Toika countermarch looms are made of kiln-dried Finnish birch, which is a very hard wood. Our looms will last for decades even in heavy use. Besides the traditional types we also produce computer controlled hand looms.

We started making reeds in the family for more than 200 years ago. The latest in reeds is the full metal profile reed.

Temples, shuttles, heddles, umbrella swifts and warping mills are also very popular weaving equipment.

Besides the hardware we have a wide range of different yarns from seine twine to bamboo for weaving, knitting and crochetery.

Toika also publishes a Finnish weaving magazine Loimien Lomassa, which appears twice a year. It includes various weaving designs with instructions.
