A Compact Loom with Big Possibilities!

Toika’s new Alvar loom combines compact dimensions, sturdy construction and versatile weaving possibilities. It is an excellent choice for weavers who appreciate the weaving experience provided by a hanging beater but have limited space available.

The new model is similar in size to our popular Laila loom. Thanks to its taller frame and hanging beater, it offers a unique combination of space-saving design, stability and a comfortable weaving experience.

Versatile Weaving Possibilities in a Compact Space

The new loom is suitable for a wide range of weaving projects, including scarves, towels, clothing fabrics and blankets. Its eight shafts provide plenty of opportunities to explore different weave structures and patterns.

The weaving width is 70 cm, but by using the double-width technique, you can weave textiles up to 140 cm wide.

Thanks to its compact dimensions, the loom is also an excellent choice for smaller weaving spaces. It requires considerably less space than Toika’s other looms equipped with a hanging beater.

Sturdy Construction and Thoughtful Details

Made from strong birch, the loom is exceptionally stable and sturdy despite its compact size.

A hanging beater is included as standard, providing a comfortable weaving experience. The removable breast beam makes dressing the loom easier by providing additional working space when preparing the loom.

Every detail has been carefully designed to make weaving as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
